Parks in Etobicoke

The stunning waterfront tops our list of favourite places to visit in Etobicoke. The suburb boasts nearly 10 km of shoreline right along Lake Ontario, spanning neighbourhoods that include Mimico, New Toronto, Long Branch, and Humber Bay Shores.

Though some waterfront areas are private, the vast majority are available for the public to enjoy. For example, Etobicoke is home to some breathtaking waterside parks, including:

Humber Bay Parks East and West: With an extensive network of trails, Humber Bay Parks are popular for hikers, cyclists, and running enthusiasts. However you get your exercise, you’ll be greeted by stunning views of the skyline on one side and open green spaces and the shoreline on the other.

Mimico Waterfront Park: Imagine more than a kilometre of trails, cobble beaches, a boardwalk, and wetland habitats! This is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon, either with your family or for some much-needed downtime.

Marie Curtis Park: At the western edge of the waterfront, you’ll find a public beach for swimming, a splash pad and playground, an off-leash dog area, and a trail perfect for hiking and cycling. It’s your all-around fun destination during the warmer months.
